The first graduate of Columbia International University鈥檚 online Ph.D. in Theological Studies calls the program, 鈥渄iscipleship at a very high level.鈥
That graduate is Dr. Josh Waltman, 33, who serves as a librarian and adjunct professor at Liberty University.
鈥淚 really can鈥檛 say enough good about (the program),鈥 said Waltman who travelled to Columbia from his home in Lynchburg, Virginia to take part in 自慰视频鈥檚 April 30 commencement.
鈥淭he way that (the program) is set up, the faculty that I encountered 鈥 it was fantastic through and through.鈥
As the first to graduate of the program Waltman is a pioneer of sorts and hopes he represents the program well.
鈥淚t really did prepare me for not just a life in the academy, but a life in ministry and service to the church,鈥 said Waltman, who also serves as an elder in his church. 鈥淚 feel a responsibility to honor that preparation with faithfulness.鈥
Mostly Waltman is impressed with the personal and professional guidance he received from 自慰视频 faculty during his two and a half years in the program.
鈥淲hat you鈥檙e getting with the mentorship, what you鈥檙e getting with the missions focus, the school, it鈥檚 first rate. It really is.鈥
