Athletics Operation Coordinator
Description
The Athletic Operations Coordinator performs administrative and operational duties delegated by the Director of Athletics for the athletic department.Ìý
Responsibilities
- Schedule and coordinate transportation for athletic teams.Ìý
- Assist in the scheduling, hiring, and coordinating of student workers.
- Process and maintain financial transactions for daily operations.Ìý
- Serve a role in gameday operations for home games as needed.
- Serve as the point of contact for ×ÔοÊÓƵ athletics graduate assistant program.
- Assist in event coordination for special events.
- Process and coordinate with IT and the physical plant needs for the athletic department.
- Other administrative tasks and duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Understanding of general athletics and the ×ÔοÊÓƵ mission.
- Positive attitude.Ìý
- Strong, proven interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and coordinating skills.
- Ability to take initiative and to quickly learn new concepts and technologies.
- Strong ability to work under deadlines while handling multiple priorities.
- Ability to make decisions based on Director of Athletics’ direction.
- Flexible schedule; able to work some evenings and weekends.
